Arbitrary waveform generator is widely used in digital television,aerospace and other fields.At present,most of the arbitrary waveform generator mainly uses the DDS technology to realize the technology,The technology of frequency synthesis from the point of view of phase has the advantages of high frequency resolution,accurate phase and frequency agility,its wide range of applications.With the development and application requirements of electronic technology to improve the signal quality,the increasingly high demand,while the DDS output spectrum contains more spurious components,has been unable to meet the application requirements of some special fields.Aiming at the above problems,this paper presents the design of a dual structure of multi channel arbitrary waveform generator,with DDS output and the sequence of output functions of the design,can meet the application requirements of the waveform generator.The design includes: DDS output module,data sequence output module,human-computer interaction module,communication module and analog circuit,etc..Constructing DDS Frequency Synthesizer with FPGA,integration of RAM blocks in FPGA,create a data lookup table cell,Through the interval address data lookup table to output waveform data,to achieve DDS signal output;The DDS frequency synthesis technique is used to generate the data output clock of the data sequence output module,using SDRAM as the data output of the data order,according to the output clock output waveform data,and by changing output the waveform data one by one according to the output clock,and by changing the data output clock to control the signal output frequency,to achieve the frequency of adjustable data output order;The use of FPGA to build human-computer interaction module color LCD driver unit,and drive off-chip display cache SRAM,Based on STM32F407 human-computer interaction interface design,through the touch recognition unit the operation of the user,to complete the design of human-computer interaction module;using STM32F407 external USB3300 as USB Transmission waveform data between the system and the realization of PC communication unit,Based on the FSMC communication bus between FPGA and STM32F407,complete the two core between the data and control command transmission;through the D/A conversion circuit,amplitude adjustment circuit and filter circuit,signal conditioning and conversion,so as to realize the design of analog circuit.Through the dual structure of the arbitrary waveform generator function and performance testing,the experimental results show that the design of the arbitrary waveform generator can realize multichannel output any waveform,amplitude adjustment range can reach 0~20Vpp.The maximum output frequency of DDS reaches10 MHz,and has a good frequency regulation characteristics.The maximum output frequency of the data sequence can reach 5MHz,and the relative DDS output has good spectral characteristics and signal quality.The multi channel arbitrary waveform generator with dual structure can be used in a variety of applications,and can expand the application range of DDS waveform generator,and has good application value.
