The things of Internet technology has been developed rapidly in recent years and its application area is expanded continuously,which has brought huge convenience to people's lives in all aspects.Bluetooth devices play an important role in transport layer for the things of Internet,which can provide low-cost and low-power wireless ports to short-distance wireless devices to realize automatic synchronization,data exchange and resource sharing and so on by piconets.Because most of wireless devices for the things of Internet are handheld,wearable and its application scene are mostly non-continuous power supply,so the power which can be used by equipments is extremely limited.Therefore,how to make the thing of Internet devices operate too long is becoming one of hot issues in the transport area for the things of Internet.Because current wireless devices for the things of Internet have many features including small size,multifunctional,rapid changes in the application environment and so on.Although the strategy is used to decrease power consumption of electric components on hardware and time-out control algorithm is adopted on software,but the equipments still can't be worked for long time.What's more,the battery capacity has been increased by 2 to 4 times in the recent 3 decades,so it isn't an effective way to solve this issue only by increasing battery capacity.It has apparent effect on increasing power consumption when wireless devices are operating and also can decrease equipment cost,therefore,which has drawn more researchers' attention.The strategy on the page has great effect on optimism and improvement when traditional wireless devices for the things of Internet are operating in all processes including before,during and after connection,which are both based on wireless devices features of the things of Internet,to realize devices power consumption under the circumstance of not decreasing demands and increasing extra cost.The main contents of this page are as follows:(1)The current development of Bluetooth devices among the things of Internet is introduced,what's more,the urgency and necessity to decrease power consumption are specifically described,which are aimed at the issue that current Bluetooth devices both can't work too long.(2)The development and application of low power consumption technology are described.(3)The all states in the communication process of Bluetooth are introduced and described,and also power consumption calculation when master and slave Bluetooth devices are in the all communication processes such as before,during and after connection is studied and some suggestions about how to decrease power consumption are made.(4)The demands about application development are analyzed,the hardware and software about low-power Bluetooth thermometer is designed and developed and realize normal communication between Bluetooth devices.(5)The tests about functions and consumption to decrease low-power thermometer are done according to the energy consumption of Bluetooth communication and combine hardware and software in the system.The experiment indicates that decreasing consumption can be achieved based on the analyzed conclusion.The technical innovation points of this page are as follows:(1)The all communication processes including before,during and after connection which Bluetooth devices are working are analyzed,the energy calculation formulas about when Bluetooth devices are working are given.(2)The communication parameters which have great influence on energy when Bluetooth devices are in the communication are analyzed and some suggestions about how to decrease consumption are made.
