When encountered with sudden natural disasters,major accidents,war and so on,communication equipment and power systems are seriously damaged.Satellite communications can quickly resume communication in a short period of time,transmit large amounts of data and be not subject to geographical restrictions.Portable satellite earth station has the characteristics of small diameter,light weight.It is easy to carry.So it is widely used in emergency communications.Before the satellite earth station putted into use,it is necessary to carry out strict network testing.With the development of wireless local area network technology,computer application technology and remote control technology,it is very important to design a multi-functional,high performance testing system.In this paper,the design of portable satellite earth station testing system can accurately collect and process data.It has the function of correcting angle fastly,obtaining accurate antenna parameters fastly,large storage capacity and so on.It realizes remote monitoring and testing.This paper takes the portable satellite earth station as the research object and introduces the design process and implementation method of the test system in detail.Firstly,the working principle and system composition of the satellite earth station are briefly introduced.The design principles of satellite earth station are expounded simultaneously.Secondly,testing system used in the LAN-based test program is introduced.Some basic parameters of antenna test and its calculation formula are described.Then the software design process of the testing system is emphasized.It introduces the detailed design of each functional module in this paper.This paper also introduces the key technologies used in system development,such as Socket communication programming technology,the design of database and the design of graphical user interface.Finally,the results of testing system's the software interface are given.Then the antenna pattern of the test is analyzed.The testing system uses automatic test software Robot Framework.The test report is automatically generated and shows the test results.After several tests,the portable satellite earth station testing system can meet the design requirements.It implements the antenna automation test and generates the test report automatically.
