Research And Design Of Receiving Antenna Test System For Satellite TV Earth Station

China with a large number of mountainous areas,cable television cannot cover all of them.To meet the people who live in remote mountainous areas can see the latest program in a timely manner,our country are developing family project for people to see TV conveniently.Antenna is the most important component in satellite TV receiving system,which decides the signal quality.With satellite TV usage becoming more and more widely,not only the people use it in the home,but also use it on boats,cars and trains.Satellite TV is becoming more and more popular,as a testing certification bodies,to ensure the quality of the satellite earth station antenna,meet the satellite earth station antenna test automation and high precision.The satellite earth station antenna testing system is developed.This paper introduces how to use spectrum analyzer to make up the satellite earth station antenna testing system.According to the characteristics of the satellite earth station antenna and test requirements,I have developed the automatic measurement system based on GPIB control technology.It has realized the programmed control of different types of spectrum analyzer,automatic data acquisition,processing and modification.The satellite earth station antenna is introduced in detail pattern,gain and cross polarization discrimination rate measurement software process and visual interface design.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the satellite earth station antenna testing system research background and significance,current situation at home and abroad.The second chapter introduces the basic electrical parameters of the antenna,the test field division and satellite earth station antenna measurement method and introduces the overall scheme of the spectrum analyzer test system based on GPIB.The third chapter introduces the test system software development,uses the VB as the platform,and realizes the automatic antenna test.The fourth chapter analyzes the limited distance and the instrument background noise on the performance of antenna test error.The influence of receiver background noise on pattern sidelobe level and the influence of matching antenna gain loss measurement.The fifth chapter tests the experiment system,gives the measurement results,and verifies the validity and reliability of the system.The system has been put into use and run stably.
