Terahertz wave belongs to a specific band of electromagnetic wave.Due to terahertz wave's positon in the electromagnetic spectrum,it has many special properties.That terahertz wave is used in communication area has a broad prospect.Compared with microwave communication,terahertz communication's information transmission capacity is bigger.Compared with optical communication,terahertz communicaiton's capacity of resisting disturbance is better.Developing terahertz communicaiton can help make up for current communication technology's deficiency.Antenna is an important part in the terahertz communication system as front-end device of transmitting or receiving electromagnetic wave.So there is important significance to carry out in-depth research of terahertz antenna.Terahertz antennas in low frequency which are applied to 100GHz?300GHz are researched in the paper,and several single-frequency terahertz antennas and dual-frequency terahertz antennas in low frequency are designed.In the first part,multiple types of single-frequency terahertz antennas and antenna array are researched in structure,material and array,and so on.On the one hand,by using photonic crystal structure and corrugated horn structure,single-frequency terahertz antennas implement high gain.On the other hand,single-frequency helix antenna with omnidirectional radiation and ultra-wideband circinate antenna are designed.In addition,radiation characteristic of single-frequency terahertz antenna which uses graphite radiator and four element array which is made up of single-frequency antenna unit are analyzed.In the second part,dual-frequency terahertz antennas with different functions are researched.Firstly,dual-frequency terahertz slot antenna with extended hemispherical lens is designed,and it has high gain at two working frequencys.Secondly,dual-frequency terahertz patch antenna in low frequency is designed,and it has dual-frequency circularly polarized characterisitic.Lastly,dual-frequency terahertz antenna which has reconfiguration capability is designed,and by reconfiguring patch's shape,it implements the transformation between single-frequency and dual-frequency.In this paper,terahertz antennas in low frequency are designed and researched from different research angles,and they have different performance characteristics.Single-frequency terahertz antennas and dual-frequency terahertz antennas which are designed satisty the requirements of design index.The paper gives some reference to the field of researching terahertz antenna.
