The development of information technology makes people's learning style,learning needs and learning cognition gradually change,also brings new opportunities and challenges to education.For example,people prefer simpler,shorter,and more interesting learning ways.Accompanied by WeChat,weibo,micro film,and other "micro" phenomenon,the Micro-lectures,as a new kind of digital learning resource,blow a "micro" wind in the course teaching.In the background of great need of high quality Learning resources and student-centered perception,the construction of micro lectures is still on the way,and plays a more important role to promote the application of teaching resources and learning environment in subject education.Because the quality of micro-lectures is the key factor affects the application consequence and it is the focus on micro-lecture designing,this article aims to research on the mode of design and application of micro lectures deeply combining with the knowledge visualization.Fundamentals of computer,as a discipline to cultivate students' interest in computer learning and promote students' thinking ability,is required for all non-computer majors in colleges and universities.Now,the course teaching faces a lot of problems,and many front-line education workers has carried out a lot of researches which is mainly about the teaching content and teaching mode.With the promotion of calculating thinking and blended teaching mode,it is more urgent to develop high-quality and suitable teaching resources.In this background,the author thinks that the micro-lecture can be applied to the teaching of fundamentals of computer based on the understanding of micro-lesson.It will not only explore deeper on the design and application of micro-lecture itself,also offers a reference of the design of teaching resources and teaching methods for teachers.This study firstly defines the concept of micro-lecture.Based on the perspective of this research,the definition of micro-lectures is apt to a kind of digital learning resources.Then the author carded and analyzed the research status on the micro-lecture and the course,and summarizes the current situations as the research background of this study.The body is made up of the following sections:(1)The previous research on present teaching situation of the fundamentals of computersThis part mainly is about the previous research on teaching content,teaching target,teaching current situation of fundamentals of computers by literature arrangement and actual interviews.Author also analyzed the conjunction and the shortage of the current application.(2)The theoretical basis and elements of micro-lectures designThe paper includes psychology related theory and Semiotic theory as its theoretical basis.Based on the theories and the research on the framework of knowledge visualization,the paper talks about the elements of the micro-lectures design,and states the design goals,content arrangements and the ways of visual representation on the base of knowledge visualization.(3)The design of fundamentals of computers micro-lecturesThis paper lists the process of micro-lectures' design which guides the design of theory and operation skill two micro-lecture cases.Next,the researcher brings the two cases to college teachers,micro-lecture research experts,education technology graduate students to get their evaluation and feedbacks.(4)Teaching experiment with micro-lectures.Design the teaching cases to evaluate and analysis the design and teaching effect of micro-lectures by the questionnaire and interview method.The results shows that: It is effective to increase the quality of micro-lectures in view of knowledge visualization,not only provides guidance for micro-lectures' design of fundamentals of computers,can also provide reference for the design of other disciplines.With the practice of microlectures on the teaching of fundamentals of computers,not only tests the usability of micro-lecture cases,also makes the teaching experiment to improve the fundamentals of computers teaching.
