With the continuous improvement of CPU and the ability of computing ability focusing on data centers,high-speed interconnection networks become a key factor in the design of high performance computer.At the same time,the number of routers and the number of links in high-speed interconnection networks are increasing,and some different traffic patterns arise,leading to high-speed interconnection networks unbalanced.Some nodes or links in networks become hot spots.Thus,eliminating the performance bottleneck of high-speed interconnection networks and improving the efficiency of high-speed interconnection networks are more important than before.As a key technology in high-speed interconnection networks,designing a good congestion control technology is necessary.Our work is on the basis of SRP(Speculative Reservation protocol),CRP(Channel Reservation Protocol)and DIBS(Detour-induced Buffer Sharing)in DCN(Data Center Networks),using the routers’ idle resources thoroughly,and propose IRP(Intermediate Reservation Protocol).According to different topologies,such as FatTree,IRP can effectively use the neighbor routers’ resources,firstly transmit packets to idle router with path diversity of FatTree,then send them to destination while the router’s resources of destination could be used.We can see the latency can be reduced by IRP.The paper mainly studies in following three aspects:Pay attention to the deficiency of the existing congestion control mechanisms,we propose IRP,improving the lack of SRP and CRP.And evaluating the performance of SRP,ECN and IRP in FatTree.Taking into account that the key link of the cluster network may become the bottleneck of the system,to full expand the application scenario of IRP,we use IRP in FatTree cluster network and evaluate the performance of IRP-C,CRP and ECN.FatTree is a kind of resource redundant topology,we continue to expand the application of IRP in energy-efficient topology dragonfly,evaluating IRP-D’s performance in dragonfly topology.To sum up,our work focuses on the research of congestion control and proposes IRP which improves the deficiency of SRP and CRP.Then,evaluating the performance in FatTree cluster network and dragonfly topology.Further reducing the transmission latency of the network packets.Therefore,our work solves some deficiency of congestion control technology based on reservation,and promoting the network performance,has a certain theoretical significance and practical value.
