The Research And Implementation Of A College Computer Smart Course Arranging System Under The Credit

Under the background of today's social-economic globalization,the level of informationization and automatization of people's working conditions and environment has continuously improved,with the development of science and technology,especially the rapid progress of information technology.Giving full play to the role of computer in the realization of intelligent office to meet popular demands,has practical significance.Since the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities in 1999,the number of undergraduate has been increasing greatly.Together with the reform of higher education,the courses offered by colleges and universities are increasing year by year,it causes the problem of the relative shortage of teaching resources and the increasingly heavy task of arranging courses by colleges and universities.In different schools,the teaching tasks and teaching modes are not all the same,and the teachers' level and teaching methods are characteristically different.So then,we need to develop a set of smart Course Arranging System,which are flexible,practical and highly adaptable,to meet the characteristic needs of arranging course of each school.And to comply with the requirements of the development of IT-based teaching,by improving the level of teaching office automatization and optimizing the allocation of teaching resources effectively,through Information Technology.This paper discusses the design scheme of smart Course Arranging System and carries out the design and implementation of each functional module from the perspective of business requirements.According to the workflow of course arranging,the teaching requirements,and the practical characteristics of the courses offered every semester in the Office of Academic Affairs of Hubei University of Technology,this topic develops a University Computer smart Course Arranging System under the credit,based on VB 6.0 and SQL Server technology.It illustrates specific research and implementation of the system based on system requirements analysis,system design,and database design.Here the Course Arranging System constructs a unified management platform for university curriculum information,which provides functions of the course input,arranging and print,to meet the needs of the office automation of course arranging in Academic Affairs.The works and innovations of this paper includes:1)Setting course priority,simplifying course arrangement,and stressing the key parts;2)Setting Data Error Detection Module to avoid unforeseen problems as course arranging conflicts caused by network failure or improper operation;3)Designing fuzzy algorithm and template function use existing resources and arranging results to save schedule time,and greatly improve efficiency.
