Design And Implementataion Of ZUOYUE Academic Affairs Management System With Intelligent Course Scheduling Supported

Reform in Education is urgent. Teaching management work needs innovation. The arrangement of curriculum schedule, as the core work of academic educational management, is a time demanding, heavy workload, high accuracy work, and will impact the overall management. The traditional customized curriculum schedule or the semi-manual curriculum schedule arrangement is difficult to support the demand of teaching management. For now, the goal of training talent students in college has changed. Curriculum schedule arrangement plays an important role in academic educational management. College should be more effectively to manage, analysis and make decision on related teaching information, and make a better promotion for the teaching activity. It is an imminent issue that college should buildup an extensible, reusable, reliable, maintainable Academic Affairs Management System, which can meet the needs of teaching management and adapt to changes in demand.This paper studies the college teaching management process, design and develop an Academic Affairs Management System. This paper also design a new "automatic" algorithm after investigating various scheduling algorithm and combining with their advantages and disadvantages. This algorithm is based on the curriculum as the basic unit, traverse all the available time slices on curriculum, and backtrack the schedule on related constraints. When a course or a class is failed to be arranged, the whole course arrangement will be canceled, then a valid time arrangement will be reselect. This process will continue until the whole arrangement is settled down. Compared with the traditional intelligent Course Scheduling, this system is not easy to go wrong, fast speed, short cycle, less nodes, and high automation. Academic Affairs Management System effectively improve the efficiency of management of College courses.
