Automatic Reading System And APP Of Android Design For Wheel Water Meter Based On Image Recognition

Measurement of water supply is the most important link in water operations.After the ‘one home one water meter' policy implementation,mechanical water meter reading tasks rise higher and higher.The workload of artificial reading by door is so big.And meter reading accuracy is low.many water meters indoor is difficult to copy.Hard to regulatory meter reading personnel.don't know whether they really read meters.And reading meters by door,there are potential safety hazardAfter years of development,the intelligent remote meter is still high price,difficult to maintenance,and also with the power problem and mechanical and electrical synchronization problems.There is so many difficult to use it.So currently the meters on market more than 80% in use is mechanical water meter.And the mechanical water meter,with low inefficient,extremely don't meet the requirement of the informatization times.In wisdom city construction,it is particularly important to transform the mechanical water meter into intelligent ones,quickly and easily.This paper adopted a kind of quick and easy way,without changing any component of mechanical water meter,complete make mechanical water meter intelligent,realize remote meter reading.It is only need to install a camera module on the original water meter.This way is low cost,easy implementation,security accurately.This AMR system consists of three parts,the water meter,acquisition and communication.All parts are independent from each other.Every parts has the highly effective.So the system is fast,safe,energy saving,high efficiency.With this system,it is very convenient to convert mechanical water meter to IOT-meter.In this paper,based on machine vision and image recognition,adopted two ways to complete the mechanical water meter reading tasks.A way based on mobile phones to achieve water meter reading,through the cloud recognition meter readings.Another way is to install camera module directly on the mechanical water meter,to collect image.And identify the meter reading through the clouds,and store the images,convenience of meter reading and management,also facilitate verification.Word wheel digital reading system design mainly include: optical imaging module design,image acquisition,image analysis,analog-to-digital conversion module design,the man-machine interface module design,design of concentrator and mobile APP design.The system has been embedded hardware design and software program,realized the stationary and movable two meter reading function.This paper introduces the whole design idea and related key points of the system,and then points section method of realization of each function module in detail?...
