Wireless sensor network(WSN)as a new sensor network including a large number sensor nodes,has the strong point of wide application and rapid deployment.With the rapid development of information industry and information processing technology,wireless sensor network is applied gradually and it has a good application prospect in many respects such as environmental detection,energy exploration,agricultural production and biological research.Topology control is one of the core problems in wireless sensor network research,reasonable network topology can prolong the network life cycle,reduce the mutual interference between the nodes and improve the efficiency of routing protocols.The scale of wireless sensor network is very large,and the network is composed of a number of sensors whose energy are limited.Therefore,in order to ensure the reliability of information transmission,wireless sensor network must have strong fault tolerance.From the perspective of network energy saving,fault tolerant topology control of wireless sensor network is studied in the paper.According to the shortcoming of LEACH algorithm the improving scheme is put forward and the simulation experiment is designed.The main research work and innovative results are as follows.Firstly,we analyze the energy consumption of network from two aspects including network nodes and the network structure.Then we study routing energy-saving and analyze the characteristics of various routing protocol.We select the typical routing protocol LEACH algorithm as the research object,and introduced the calculation process of LEACH algorithm in detail.We design simulation experiments and analyze the performance of LEACH algorithm.Secondly,in view of the faults of energy distribution,an improved LEACH algorithm is proposed based on adaptive way strategy,by setting a threshold energy to limit the choice of cluster heads.The results demonstrate the improved algorithm can get longer life and increase network throughput compared with LEACH algorithm.Finally,from the perspective of power control,we propose a LEACH improvementscheme based on genetic algorithm.In the method,network clustering is made by using the node location information and residual energy of nodes,and sleep scheduling is applied by considering cluster-heads node residual energy,cluster the coverage and repeated covering area of cluster to further optimize topological structure.We compare the two kinds of improved algorithm from the life of network,the residual energy nodes and the throughput of cluster heads through the simulation experiment.
