The Design And Implementation Of A Location Tracking Software On Android Platform

Nowadays,the number of domestic elderly population is increasing,the degradation of intellectual and operational capacity makes the elderly hard to adapt to the increasingly complex environment,thus leading to the elderly lost contact even lost,bring hidden dangers to family life.In addition,every year,200,000 children have been abducted or missing in our country.How to protect the elderly and children and protect them from loss against trafficking has become an important social issue,the demand for care for the elderly and children is increasing.The invention and mature applications of GPS(Globle Positioning System,GPS),making it possible to access target location information accuratly in real-time.The Android operating system for its openness and good nature has attracted a large number of mobile terminal equipment manufacturers.As of early 2015,the official number of applications on Android application market has exceeded 1.4 million.Among them,ones that combine the mobile communication network and GPS positioning technology has been favoured by a lot of users.In this paper,the related technology of position tracking software is analyzed and researched deeply,and the realization methods of each technology are analyzed and compared in detail.Finally,the technical scheme combining SMS short message and push service is used to break through.The traditional functions of the system limitations,a better solution to the mobile application environment,real-time location and monitoring issues.After that,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the requirements of location tracking software,and designs and discusses the overall framework of the software,communication mode,push server,positioning equipment and monitoring the function module of APP.In the implementation,this paper uses the Netty framework to build the push server,and uses the Android system interface to complete the tracking device and the monitoring part of the software.Finally,this paper tests the position tracking software in various aspects.The location tracking software can be applied to the monitoring of the elderly and children,which has important practical and social significance.
