The development trend of PCB mechanical drilling machine is to be capable of precise micro via processing with high precision and high speed.Therefore,not only the improvement of mechanical dynamics property concerning PCB mechanical drilling machine,processing technology are required,but also motion control system with high performance and stability is needed.Based on the analysis of the control system structure,a control system with PC,motion control card,linear motor and closed-loop feedback are employed in this work.To ensure the excellent dynamic response and positioning accuracy for the motion axis,this thesis establishes a mathematical model for the linear driving control system,and uses MATLAB software to simulate the compound feed-forward control strategy which is for the motion axis precise positioning.In addition,a PMAC controller is used to debug the actual load to verify the efficiency of the control strategy.The main motion pattern of PCB mechanical drilling machine is point-to-point movement.By theoretically analyzing the acceleration and deceleration curve,combining with the actual performances of the drilling axis on different track characteristics,an s-curve acceleration and deceleration of motor control strategies are designed for X?Y axis,and also a PVT(position-velocity-time)and s-curve acceleration and deceleration for Z axis.Then using PMAC controller programming tools,this thesis writes motion programs combining the real operating condition to achieve the acceleration and deceleration control for XYZ axis.This thesis builds a PCB mechanical drilling prototype machine.By checking the dynamic response characteristics and drilling precision for the prototype with the Laser Interferometer and the Two-dimensional Testing equipments,it shows that the system has reached the level of the top SIEB&MEYER motion control system in the same industry.So it means that the motion control system developed in this thesis is effective.
