With the development of the Internet,the business diversified in the category,showing a surge in the number,the structure and function of the node affect the performance of the entire network.The traditional node need to complete the bottom of the exchange,but also complete the calculation of the path and the distribution of the wavelength,which brings a heavy task to the node.In order to reduce the burden of nodes,improve resource utilization and enhance the performance of the network,this paper studies in the exchange,path calculation and resource allocation issues based on PCE.Specific content as follows:Firstly,considering that waveband switching can not reduce the requirement of wavelength and the limit of wavelength continuity,we propose optical code switching and verify its feasibility and advantage by experiment.In the process of optical code switching,the establishment of code group routing entity reduces the port consumption and improves the utilization of fiber.At the same time,it is reducing the burden on the node,to achieve the establishment of code group routing entity,by adding a new module in the PCE.Secondly,the problem of path computation and optical code assignment based on PCE is studied.The path computation is separated from the traditional node and handed over to the PCE,and a simple flow of the path computation based on PCE is given.On the issue of optical code assignment,in order to avoid different requests to compete for the same optical code,there are two methods to create a conflict avoidance table one is through the path message to sign the other is computing path based on PCE to obtain a detailed computation table,and stores in the PCE.When the optical code is reserved,the collision is perceived by the communication between the node and the PCE,and the reservation conflict is reduced.Finally,the expansion of PCEP was carried out.The basic requirements and hierarchical architecture of PCEP are given.In order to make PCE support the establishment of code group routing entity and optical code assignment,object and message type is extended for PCEP.The paper focuses on the request message and response message needed for the establishment of code group routing entity.On this basis,the detailed process of establishing the code group entity based on PCEP is given.
