Design And Implementation Of Student Register Management System Of Huaibei Vocational & Technical College

As higher vocational colleges are in the stage of rapid development in the new era, Thescale of most colleges is expanding sharply and the number of students soaring, which must result in increasing much pressure on student status management. Student status management is not only a complicated important component but also essential in the management of colleges. Therefore student status management system is required to provide necessary and sufficient information, and a quick inquiry method for users. According to the solicited opinions of student status management system from educational administration department and departments of Huaibei Vocational & Technical College, and the investigation and analysis of other colleges, we decide to abandon the original stand-alone version of the database management mode. So, this project mainly explore and develop a new system software on student status management of Huaibei Vocational & Technical College, by using the software to achieve promoting the standardization, information, networking and science of the managements of the college.The development of the system is based on the B/S model, with the ASP.NET technology and Server SQL database system, VS2010 integrated language C# development environment in the design. Thus it has low requirements for users' computer system, that is,generally a computer with Pentium IV CPU can be used, through the Web browser and without the need to install the client. Because the B/S architecture can be directly connected to the Internet, it can achieve the purpose of multi client access with better interactive,through a certain number of access control, and afterwards the system upgrade is not related to the user system.In the system interface design we have adopted the master page design, making the system page a unified style and behavior, and convenient for users to use, so that it can avoid repeating coding each page in the development process. The method can not only create a single page template but can also be used as the basis for other pages in the application, thus avoiding hassles of all new pages created from scratch.Different from the past database management, the system has many advantages as follows: low maintenance cost and convenient maintenance; use flexible and convenient, the user simply through the network conveniently realize the management access to the data using a browser; strong transaction processing and data security. In addition, the system considers the need of the rapid development of higher vocational education, at the same time,also considers the characteristics of universities of undergraduate course, So not only can itmeet the need of student status management of higher vocational colleges, but it can also be used for the management of graduates register.
