Ethernet AVB protocol(Ethernet Audio Video Bridging)is based on the traditional Ethernet,adding a new protocol standard,composed of a new IEEE802 protocol,which i ncludes the IEEE802.1AS precise time synchronization protocol,IEEE802.1 Qat guarant ee bandwidth agreement,IEEE802.1 Qav flow control protocol.Ethernet AVB have obvi ous advantages in the vehicle network,so it become the most promising next-generation automotive network protocol standards.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign related technologies and the Ethernet AVB protocol,the paper design and implement the Ethernet AVB terminal node and switch node model,implement clock synchronization module,stream reserve bandwidth and stream control module.The maximum delay calculation of Ethernet AVB network is studied in the paper.A time-triggered and event-triggered flow control algorithm is proposed for the delay.The theoretical analysis shows that the algorithm is better than the original algorithm in queuing delay performance.The design of the Ethernet AVB network components is accomplished by using discrete event simulation technology based on OMNET simulation platform.The results of driving system simulation show that the improved AVB protocol is superior to standard Ethernet AVB protocol in real-time and stability of control information.
