Design And Implementation Of Electronic Coupon Management Information System

Promotional coupons is a common means of promotional activities in Department stores.Traditional promotional coupons generally use paper promotional coupons,it's a waste of resources,harmful to environmental protection,difficult to control,easy to be copied by criminals,and difficult for the statistical recovery.Electronic promotional coupons which use modern information technology to replace the traditional paper promotional coupons could be a better choice.By managing stores/malls promotional activities as the core task,the establishment of the electronic coupon hierarchy of planning promotional activities,including the related business processes and permission settings which simplify the stores/shopping promotional activities and make customers shopping more convenient,has important application significance.This paper designs and implements an independent electronic coupon management information system based on bar-code application,in order to manage the electronic promotional coupons.The information system manages all aspects of the whole process from the definition,releasing and recycling etc.On this basic,this system monitors the release and recycle of issued coupons,collects and analyzes the customer consumption data during the process so as to provide strong support for the promotion effect evaluations and management decisions.The system is developed by using J2 EE architecture,MVC three layer and B/S architecture,based on Oracle database and development language of Java Extjs,JavaScript,HTML,CSS,AS etc..The security measure on data exchange between the front end and the back end of the system has been detail discussed..The overall system architecture has flexible scalability and can be smoothly upgraded with the expansion of the business and the applications.
