With the vigorous development of power electronics industry,promoting the IGBT specific driver chip has occupied a dominant position in the field of electric vehicle and other related areas.In order to make the IGBT driver and protection circuit work well,it is rather important to provide stable and reliable power supply.According to practical application requirements,in this paper,I designed a BUCK DC-DC converter which controlled by peak current and modulated by PWM.This converter is used to completed the design of the whole system of the converter,including the selection of the power-stage device parameters and the design of overall control loops.Due to the special requirement of temperature in practical application,this paper provide vertification of the support power for low power IGBT specific driver chip in electric vehicle.This paper mainly performance in overall circuit modules at different temperature.At the same time in order to fit the application requirement and reduce the peripheral pins,this thesis used full-chip LDO to supplies power to the low-voltage control loop in the design part.In system start-up process,I adopted digital soft start circuit to complete the initialization,which is zero power consumption and can achieve full-chip integrated.The BUCK DC-DC converter inputs voltage range is 9V-18 V and has fixed output voltage of 5V.As application requirements,the load current range is from 100 mA to 1A,with a fixed operating frequency 2MHz.Based on the CSMC 0.25 mm BCD technology library,I completed the relevant circuit design and simulation work.The result shows that the partial circuits and the overall system can work stably at the temperature that the application requires.Within the load range required,the conversion efficiency of the system is more than 80% and the peak efficiency reaches 94.2%,which can fully meet the design requirements.
