In recent years,with the rise in global temperatures,water emergencies caused by sudden geological disasters and human factors show an upward trend year by year.Meanwhile,economic and social development leads to the heavy losses of every disaster and catastrophe.In order to predict the disaster correctly and to avoid and reduce further losses of secondary damage after the occurrence of disaster,the hydrological emergency work at the disaster scene plays a critical role.In traditional hydrological emergency work,the problem of inefficient and single function exists in the aspect of auxiliary calculation;moreover,it is urgent for hydrological emergency work to be assisted by information technology on the ground that the scene of the disaster scene is complex and the conditions of emergency working are terrible.In this background,the development of the hydrological emergency auxiliary computing system is proposed to calculate effectively according to the relevant data measured in the scene as soon as possible,and aiming to deal with the development of disaster properly,the calculation results are provided for decision-making leadership to reduce the impact of water emergencies on the life and property safety of the masses.Based on the actual work and combined with the plans of hydrological emergency,this paper sorts out the demand and corresponding important empirical formulas and reasoning formulas for the computations of landslide body,dammed lake water body,the storage flow and the discharge flow of dammed lake,the dam break width and maximum peak flow of dammed lake,the process of the maximum flood peak flow in the dammed lake,storm flood,and water pollution.The system architecture,functional modules and databases of hydrological emergency auxiliary computing system are designed according to the system performance requirements produced by the actual working environment and for detailed design of each functional level,the functions of basic information management,the module calculation,and system management are implemented in accordance with the object-oriented software engineering development method.The system has been delivered to the Gansu Provincial Hydrology Bureau.It provides a scientific basis and the emergency disposal of water emergencies which has promoted the work of hydrological emergency scene greatly and improved the work efficiency for the assistance calculation and the reporting capability of hydrological emergency.
