Improving energy utilization is one of the major solutions to solve worldwide energy crisis.Optimizing condensation heat transfer efficiency is one of the effective ways to increase energy utilization.Capability of condensation heat transfer beads is far better than that of filmwise condensation,which is more than ten times of the latter.Marangoni condensation promotes bead form of condensation heat transfer,Heat transfer coefficient is generally higher than that of pure liquid condensation heat transfer coefficient.There is a close relationship between Condensation water parameters and heat transfer coefficient,the heat transfer coefficient can be calculated by obtaining the condensation water parameters,Which in turn benefits for the industrial design.The ambiguity which is caused by transparency,reflectivity,shape and irregular distribution of condensation water brings a big challenge for the process of calculation and statistic of condensation water parameters.This article proceed with the shape features of condensation water itself,researches carried on thorough research on edge detection,radius and area of Marangoni condensation water beads,Presents two Marangoni condensation water bead edge detection algorithms,constructs automatic measuring system for radius and area of Marangoni condensation water bead.The main research achievements and contributions of this paper as follows:(1)Put forwards Marangoni condensation water edge detection method based on the combination of improved Otsu and quadtree method,which solves the ambiguity of Marangoni Condensation water edge and condensation water bead parameters calculation caused by transparency,reflectivity,shape and irregular distribution of condensation water beads in image.This method determines the high and low threshold image segmentation automatically by denoising and locating the position of condensation water beads using quadtree method,furthermore considering the complex texture feature,Operates the noise through further processing logic,Improves the integrity of the condensation water beads.Finally obtained the better condensation water bead edge using Canny edge detection operation.The experimental results show that comparing to only using Otsu or quadtree processing,This method not only can accurately detects the condensation water bead area but also can suppresses the background interference effectively,are of strong robustness.(2)Put forwards the quadtree Marangoni condensation water edge detection method based on region growing method,in the first place,detects condensation water beads preliminary using region growing method,secondly locates the positions of the condensation water Using quadtree method,the logic or operation carried on as partial and whole on image and the corresponding part of the image which is obtained by region growing method,Finally considering the complex texture and shape features of condensation water beads itself,Improves the integrity of the condensation water by noise processing and edge smoothing.The experimental results show that Condensation water bead shape feature itself is of the high degree differentiation on Marangoni edge zone,can greatly reduce the detection error rate,is of high accuracy.(3)According to the characteristics of image size and the actual object is the same,this study proposes direct image processing method.Get the width a of each pixel according to the size of the image,The length of the diagonal b,The perimeter of condensation water is obtained by edge representation and the total number of tag partition pixels,finally area is calculated,to decide whether condensation water bead is a circle according to the relationship between perimeter and area,calculate the radius In accordance with the circular or the non-circular.” Condensation water bead edge detection and parameter automatic measuring system based on image processing ” is constructed using MATLAB,which includes the functions of Liquid bead edge detection,Condensation water bead analysis,and Fluid parameter calculation.The system introduced in this study is easy to use,faster computing speed,is of significant importance in Marangoni condensation water bead data statistical analysis in terms of industrial designing.
