Dropwise condensation is an efficient way of heat transfer, the calculation of dropwise condensation is always a problem to be solved in the engineering, the calculation of steam condensation in pure water model, the calculation model put forward by the ROSE is more classic, but the model need to statistics the number of the liquid beads and radius. However, for the Marangoni dropwise condensation data statistical analysis, Using the manual operation is time-consuming and laborious work,efficiency and accuracy can only maintain at a certain level.Today the image processing technology has been applied widely used everywhere,such as: detection of industrial production, military field, medical technology, areas of aerospace, etc.If we can through the method of image recognition the statistics of the number of dropwise condensation and particle radii distribution,and lay the foundation for theoretical calculation of solid,and have a great practical significance.In this paper, We study for the process of detecting and recognizing the liquid beads in the condensate bead image, and have achieve the statistics the number and particle radii distribution of dropwise condensation.We achieve a variety of digital image algorithms using OpenCV. In the design and Implementation of program algorithm, using OpenCV improved reliability and accuracy of the program.The main contents are as follows:1. Use the digital image processing techniques to have the condensate bead image pretreatment process, choose the appropriate pretreatment process and algorithm, provide solid foundation for image edge detection.2. Obtained the condensate bead image have edge detection, and count the number of droplet and particle radii distribution.3. Programming in C++ development platform configuration OpenCV environment, this thesis to realize the algorithm flow, and build the condensationwater bead test system software.Through the experimental research, finally get number and particle radii distribution of condensate bead image, the result of experimental is ideal. The system of dropwise condensation detection build to achieve the purpose of automatic processing analysis in a certain environment.
