In the modern war,"first enemy discovery,first enemy attack,first enemy kill" has become one of the main methods of winning the war.This can be achieved by designing fighters with small radar cross-section and being equipped with advanced radar system capable of long distance detection.And outside interference shortens the radar's detection distance,therefore the detection performance and anti-jamming performance of the radar have a direct impact on the actual combat capability of the radar.In this paper,the research on the detection performance and anti-jamming performance of the radar can provide an important theoretical basis for the application of the equipment.Radar detects target based on the electromagnetic wave of the target reflection,so the radar detection range is related to radar performance,the characteristics of the target and the propagation of electromagnetic waves.The radar equation is a quantitative description of the radar detection range and the relationship between them.It is of great significance to study the radar equation.The radar detection range can be evaluated under the condition that the radar parameters and target characteristics are given and the important significance can be provided for the engineers to design the parameters of the radar system by analyzing the influence factors of the radar equation.In this paper,starting from the radar equation,Firstly the development of radar equations has been descripted,and the effect of interference on the radar detection distance in literatures has been briefly summarized.Secondly,the working principle of the radar detection target is briefly described,and the radar equation is deduced.Several typical radar equations that include bistatic radar equation,search radar equations and radar equations in disturbed environments are given.The mechanism and mathematical model of suppression interference and false target interference are discussed.The simulation analysis of common suppression interference and false target interference is descripted.The influence of suppression noise interference on radar detection range is analyzed emphatically.The important influencing factors consisting of detectability factor,direction propagation factor,system noise temperature factor and the loss factor are discussed and modeled.And the calculation method of the above factors is given.Giving the method of the actual detection range by Blake worksheet,and the calculation of the radar detection power is realized by simulation.By giving parameters of the jammer,the simulation are carried out to realize the actual detection range of the radar under the interference and the radar detection range after the anti-jamming measures.Finally,"radar detection performance evaluation" software is designed by Graphical User Interface(GUI)function of MATLAB,and the calculation method of radar detection range is collected in this software.The software is simple to operate and can be used repeatedly by the user.Users can modify the size of the relevant factors and analyze the radar detection performance based on the change of detection distance.Through the study of radar detection performance and anti-jamming performance evaluation,it is helpful to comprehensively understand and grasp the actual combat effectiveness of the radar,not only for the accurate assessment of radar detection range to provide theoretical support,but also for the equipment of the field simulation to provide valuable reference,providing an important guiding significance for the radar system design.
