Currently,the mainstream instant messaging system has a large number of users nationally and internationally,which is inseparable from daily life and work.But a prominent problem is that these systems are only available in the public network,but not available on the condition that the public network is completely disconnected or in the special isolated scenes,such as disaster area communications,satellite communications,emergency command,secrecy and security.Therefore,it is very necessary to research and implement an instant messaging system which is independent,easy to deploy and has a special extended function.Based on an existing research project,this paper makes a research on the implementation of an instant messaging system for the particular field.Firstly,this paper analyses the requirements of the instant messaging system,key technologies and the system architecture.According to the particular environment the system applied to,a kind of system architecture is established whose coupling degree is low,scalability is high and stability is strong.The key technology of the system used in the network communication,file service,data service and monitoring service is analyzed.By deep research and analysis,the techniques processing network communication with high concurrency,methods providing file service with high quality,methods providing data service with high performance,and efficient techniques processing monitor images are obtained.These research and analysis about key technologies establish the foundation for the design and implementation of the instant messaging system.Secondly,the design of the system architecture,the communication protocol and the process of communication is accomplished.Then the sub-modules of the system including main server,file server,data server and monitor server are designed.Thirdly,the key techniques and the function of each sub-module of the system are implemented.Finally,a test framework for the instant messaging system and complete test samples are designed for finishing the functions and performance testing of the system.The test results show that the system has realized different multimedia communication functions and the remote monitoring function,whose concurrency is good and performance is stable.This paper has reached the expected goal.Currently,the system has been checked by experts in the field concerned,and applied in a research institute facing with some special scenes.
