With the wireless communication network traffic continues to increase,the network load continues to rise,the network business continues to increase,making the task of network optimization is more arduous.Neighbor cell optimization as an important part of the network optimization work,mainly in order to improve the quality of user calls to ensure that the call has a good switch between the base station,thereby improving the switching efficiency to provide a secure and reliable call environment for the network users.Based on the wireless network optimization platform project of a communication equipment manufacturer,this paper analyzes the related problems of the neighbor cell optimization in the GSM system,and designs and implements the neighbor cell optimization function according to the users' requirement.This function is an important part of the CNO wireless network optimization system.First of all,it is necessary to import the required project parameters,radio parameters,handover parameters and MR data.By preprocessing and analyzing these data,the main-neighbor cell relationship is obtained.Customize the handover target threshold for neighbor cell optimization analysis to find out the problems in the neighbor cells and visualize the results using tabular and map.The optimization results and the new radio parameters can be saved to the Excel file.The paper expatiates on the architecture and function of CNO network optimization system.In the development tool selection,the foreground client adopts the visual programming software Code Gear RAD Studio C ++ Builder2007 based on Delphi,the background database adopts My SQL database,and then the various modules were developed by the C/S architecture,MVC design patterns,DLL dynamic link library and meta-form.Firstly,the neighbor cell optimization function is divided into the data management module,the analysis preprocess module,the neighborhood relation process module and the file compare module after the overall requirement analysis.Then,each function module is designed and analyzed in detail.The business module is coded and implemented.Finally,the functional test and performance test are carried out,and the corresponding summary and analysis are given.The neighbor cell optimization function was successfully deployed to the daily network optimization of CNO wireless network optimization software after the design was implemented,assess the problems efficiently and quickly in the network and give the suggestions for the optimization.The user can use the interface operation of each module to complete the management of various data,also can make the analysis and process,and finally get the relationship between the existing network optimization results by the neighbor cell optimization function.The function greatly reducing the network optimization engineers daily workload.In the future,the function can be adjusted and maintained according to the new problems that network optimization engineers will meet in the daily work.After the analysis of the test results,the realization of this function can achieve the purpose of neighbor cell optimization to improve network quality.
