The three-tube communication tower is widely used because of it's advantages such as less amount of steel,less area it covers and so on. The safety of three-tube communication tower has been paid ,predore attentions.As a result, the demand of research on safety and reliability of three-tube communication tower is getting universal. The safety research is based on a 40m three-tube communication tower.Firstly, various of communication towers safety accident cases have been analyzed while current communication tower standards, operation standard, inspection and maintenance specifications and regulations have been classified and summarized. On this basis, several factors which will cause the safety accident of the communication three-towers have been summarized. Among them, wind load, earthquake load and ice load are three most dangerous factors.Secondly, the structural analysis of three-tube tower are conducted based on the three kind of loads above. 1 Equivalent nodal force of the tower under wind load are calculated accoding to the code for design of building structures. The theoretical calculation and simulation of stress and strain is operated with the method of layered space truss and the method of diaphragm and virtual surface of SAP2000. 2 Interlaminar shear force under the earthquake load of tower is calculated by bottom shearing force method and mode decomposition response spectrum method. Then the interlaminar shear force of tower bar was carried out by simulation. 3 The wrap ice thickness and the ice load is calculated according to the code for design of building structures. After exert the ice load on the tower, finite element simulation of the interlaminar shear force of tower bar was carried out by simulation. In addition, when the melt ice is not uniform wind load, tower is easily broken. So the strain on this condition is simulated by SAP2000.At last, the subject makes several optimization on relevant inspections and maintenance specifications. The tower vertical tilt account for the high proportion of tower was. calculated and was compared to the related regulations in current testing specification.According to that, the testing specification condition is optimized; Then the range of the potential broken floor is measured and the testing specification is optimized based on the calculate and empirical data. In addition, the tower with uneven ice and intense wind is more easily to slope a lot. Based on this, the the testing specification condition is optimized.This subject provides new base and theoretical support for the design and test of communication tower,offer new reference for the assessment of safety, built foundation for saving cost of the test of towers.
