In recent years,the development of Internet application is fast,network scale expands unceasingly,but for the ever-changing Internet,applications,the network architecture no obvious improvement,emerging new business make the burden of traditional network of heavily.Software Defined Network(SDN)is a kind of brand-new network architecture?It implements the network forward control and separation,adopt the centralized control mode,network managers can according to the global information network to make optimized decision?At the same time,SDN programmatically abstract network resources,and the open call interface,network users can grasp control of the network resources for the first time according to their own requirements custom forwarding strategy,thus greatly improve the flexibility of the network.Software defined technology is introduced in optical networks,which can provide light layer resources unified scheduling and control,and through the network programming ability to meet the needs of diversified business,make the light network control more flexible,higher operating efficiency.Therefore,research on the software defined optical network(SDON)is the inevitable demand of Internet application development.To achieve this goal,however,need to be urgently study SDN standardized interface protocols OpenFlow how and the integration of optical network,the traditional optical network devices to access SDON architecture technical problems such as the topic.Firstly,this paper proposed the controller virtual layer SDON control mechanism,realizes the OpenFlow equipment and the unity of the traditional optical device control,and concretely introduces the controller OpenDaylight and virtual layer software Open vSwitch programming extensions.In addition,this paper also analyzed the OpenFlow in optical network virtualization and flexible control plays an important role.Finally,using laboratory hardware devices and has developed two new software built SDON network experiment platform,and through the platform experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed control mechanism and the flexibility of software defined optical networks.
