Traditional optical transport network is characterized by rigid pipes and fixed rate interface bandwidth,and can not be dynamically adjust network resources based on traffic demand,with the current number of new business changes in real time,with the sudden traffic patterns do not match,so the research flexible and open network architecture and effective resource acquisition and allocation scheme is important.Software-Defined Network(SDN)appears study optical transport network to provide new ideas.Software-defined networking(SDN)is defined as a control framework that supports programmability of network functions and protocols by decoupling the data plane and the control plane,which are currently integrated vertically in most network equipment.These features can be extended to SDN optical transmission network,make the structure and function of the optical network based on user or operator needs,the use of software programming approach to dynamic customization,enabling rapid response to requests,the efficient use of resources,and flexible purpose of providing services,such The network is called software-defined optical network(SDON).the software-defined network SDN light for optical transport networks become a hot discuss.In this paper,the definition of acquisition and allocation of resources software for optical networks,carried out the design and implementation of the program,the main research work includes:Firstly,the research status of software-defined optical network,describes the technical principles OpenFlow protocol to compare the various protocol version changes,the analysis of the technical features of OpenFlow on SDN from some of the more characteristic of the controller made so far for the relevant description.Second,expand SDON resource acquisition and allocation of design,to discuss two aspects of design from SDON network architecture and solutions,get to make bandwidth resources and link resources by expanding OpenFlow protocol,resource allocation design,then analyze the OpenDaylight controller,Finally,the controller made the realization of the proposed scheme.Then,we use mininet and agent to build experimental network under single-node and multi-node and the case was tested and experimental verification.Experimental results show that the optical network-based SDN enables control and forwarding separation,optical networks achieve access to resources,and allocate resources based on the North needs to APP.Finally,sum up the work done by the full text of articles,and for future work in the future.
