Research And Implementation On Stbc Decoding And Frequency Domain Equalization In MIMO Systems

How to improve the system transmission reliability and system performance is one of the foucs of research in the modern wireless mobile communication system.In the beyond-the-horizon microwave communication system,because of the influence of the multipath effect,Inter-Symbol-Interference will seriously affect the bit error rate of the communication system.In order to make the wireless communication system can work normally under this environment,we could combine SBTC with SC-FDE in MIMO transmission system.This scheme not only eliminates ISI effectively,but also obtains full diversity gain.So this scheme will reduce the BER of system.This paper is mainly about how to carry on STBC with SC-FDE in the MIMO communication system.Firstly,the key technologies of MIMO communication system are analysed.The principle and advantages of MIMO technology is analyzed by theoretical calculation and software simulation.Then,STBC and SC-FDE's principles are analysed,and through the comparison and analysis with multicarrier technology for SC-FDE's advantages.On this basis,completed the STBC decoding in the MIMO communication system combined with SC-FDE system design scheme.Completed the construction of the simulation platform,gives the system simulation results under different channel models.Finally,completed modules which include STBC decoding and SC-FDE on the FPGA chip according to the software simulation platform.Completed the indoor and field test.In this paper,through the above work proves that using STBC decoding and SC-FDE in the MIMO communication system to improve the performance of the system in harsh environments is very effective.We implemented prototype on FPGA and met the requirements of the project design.
