Underwater acoustic sensor network is a typical application of wireless sensor network, it can monitor a wide range of target marine areas information in real time,it has broad application prospects in the collection of marine data, ensuring the safety of the sea and prediction of marine pollution, etc. However, most underwater acoustic channels have particular characters such as multipath propagation, high path loss, low transmission speed,the Doppler frequency dispersion and strong environmental noise, etc. In addition, most underwater sensor nodes are drifting with the currents, which makes underwater acoustic sensor network different from terrestrial wireless sensor network in feature, such as a large transmission delay, high error rate, low bandwidth, high mobility and low reliability, etc.These particular characteristic determines the protocol and theory of the existing land-based WSN can't be directly applied to the underwater acoustic sensor network, making the research on the reliability of its data transmission technology very challenging.On the basis of previous research on multipath data transmission technology of wireless self-organized network, acoustic channel model, network coding technology and the existing research on data reliable transmission technology in underwater acoustic sensor network, this paper focuses on the research of reliable data transmission technology in underwater acoustic sensor networks based on dual-path model, mainly includes the following two parts:First, on the basis of the existing algorithms based on network coding and reliable data transmission of multi-path about Underwater Acoustic Sensor Network, with the reference to Improved pool (IPool) nodes technology, in underwater acoustic sensor network, reliable data transmission algorithm based on dual-path is proposed in this paper, the algorithm transmits two groups of coding package on two paths, nodes on one path act as IPool nodes for nodes on the other path, using network coding technology in it can improve throughput of the network, and using the least data transmission cost to improve the reliability of the data transmission. Academic analysis and experimental results show that under the premise of ensuring the data transmission reliability, the algorithm proposed in this paper can reduce the cost of data transmission further,thereby, prolonging the network life cycle.Second, the theoretical analysis and experimental verification of the proposed algorithm is in a symmetrical dual-path model, however, in actual underwater acoustic sensor network,there are many paths from source node to sink node, how to select the dual-path for transmitting data from source node to sink node is an important research content, so the dual-path routing mechanism of adaptive energy and channel bandwidth is proposed in this paper, aims to establish the dual-path model from the source node to the destination node,the experimental results show that this routing mechanism, compared to the shortest path method,can increase the throughput of the whole network and can prolong the network life cycle.
