Underwater acoustic sensor network is a typical application in wireless sensor network,as the ideal media of the marine environment, underwater acoustic sensor network canmonitor a wide range of target waters in real time, it has a wide application prospects foroceanic resource survey, oceanic environment survey and guarantee of sea area safety, etc.As acoustics channels have the characters of long transmission distance, lowtransmission rate, high path loss, strong environment noise, multi-path action, doppler spread,etc, in addition drifting with the currents, which makes underwater acoustic sensor networkdifferent from terrestrial wireless sensor network in feature, such as long transmission delay,low bandwidth, high error rate, high mobility, low reliability, etc. These characters determinethe research on the reliability of its data transmission technology is very challenging, whichmakes the theory of the existing land WSN can’t be directly applied to the underwateracoustic sensor network.So based on the existing research on multipath data transmission technology of Ad hocwireless network, network coding technology, acoustic channel model, and reliable datatransmission technology in Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks, this paper study thereliable data transmission in underwater acoustic sensor network based on network coding, Itmainly includes the two following parts: first, we research dynamic offset pipeline technologybased on link channel state prediction, using the characters of long distance between nodes,long transmission delay realize full-duplex communication on the half-duplex underwateracoustic channel, this technology can reduce harmful effects on long transmission delay ofalgorithm, and reduce the transmission time among the UASN nodes, and combined with network coding ideology, according to the prediction error rates, dynamically adjust thenumber of redundant packets of UASN to strike a balance between network reliability andenergy consumption as much as possible. Second on the basis of the existing algorithms basedon network coding and reliable data transmission of multi-path about Underwater AcousticSensor Network, with the reference to ipool nodes technology, we research reliabletransmission based on network coding and multi-path Underwater Acoustic Sensor Network,put forward the reliable transmission algorithms based on network coding and ipool nodes onUASN, this algorithms transports two groups of coding packets on the three paths, the nodeson two paths have effects on the nodes on another way as ipool nodes. And it uses networkcoding to increase network throughput, uses the lowest transmission fees to improve thereliability of the data transmission. At the meanwhile adjust the number of the data redundantpackets according to the prediction of the bit error rate, this algorithm can strike a balancebetween network reliability rate and energy consumption as much as possible. Experimentalanalysis shows that under the premise of ensuring the data transmission reliability, theIPool-NC algorithm can further reduce energy consumption.
