Research On Automatic Extraction Of Spectral Curve

Automatic extract the spectrum curve in spectrum picture is very important for radio management,but little literature demonstrated relative research work on such domain except for oil and medicine curve extraction.The purpose of this paper is to automatically extract the spectrum curve by computer.This study applied the understanding of image processing relatively algorithm,assisted with image graying,image gray transformation,projection,statistics,utilized image statistic differences,proposed methods to extract spectrum curve from this two different kinds of spectrum picture.Spectrum picture can be divided into two categories by different of definition.With the proposed methods,realized the extraction purpose.Firstly,the method of curve extraction based on the whole picture statistical filter is proposed for high quality spectrum picture.This method is beautifully suable for high quality spectrum pictures,however it is not available for low quality spectrum pictures.Secondly,in order to improve the curve recognition rate of low resolution spectrum picture,on the basis of grid recognition,a curve extraction method based on the local area,which limited by grid,statistical filter proposed.Details about those two kinds of curve extraction algorithms are follow.1,Whole picture statistical filter.Firstly,with the gray statistics of the whole spectrum picture,get the gray distribution of the picture,and find out the gray of background.Secondly,aim at one row or rank,clear the gray which appears most.Thirdly,track the curves and select the spectrum curve according to the characteristics of the spectrum curve.2,local area statistical filter based on accuracy recognition of grid.Because spectrum curve always locates in the grids,analytical areas in the picture can be reduced to the grid areas.After clear the main background gray in the grid areas,curves can be limited to spectrum curve and few characters.Track curves under such circumstances and select the spectrum curve according to the characteristics of the spectrum curve.Through theoretical analysis and experimental verification,the method of extracting the curve from the spectrogram is applicable to most of the spectrum.The method not only improves the working efficiency of the radio technical personnel,but also improves the accuracy of reading the spectrum curve.
