With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,the networks are becoming more and more complex.It's a key to the research of today's telecommunication networks that figuring out the way to study and evaluate its performance.At present,using the computer simulation for test and analysis is the best way to solve the problem above,which is generally believed by the research institution domestic and overseas.But the system-level simulation platforms for 3 GPP LTE-Advanced are often based on MATLAB.There are some platforms based on C/C++.But they are all based on snapshots with simple control plane.The topic of the paper comes from the National Planed Major Science and Technology Project named Dynamic Simulation Platform of Complex Networks.After researching on existing system-level simulation platform for LTE-Advanced,this paper come up with a new design and then implemented that.The main work of the design and the implementation can be described as follows.Firstly,the paper summarized the LTE-A networks in three aspects,which are the standards,the architectures and key technologies.Then the paper studied the objectives and methods of system-level simulation and summarized the reaserch situation of it.Secondly,the paper did the optimal design according to these three steps:the design philosophy,overall design and module design.It mainly focus on the goal of decoupling in three ways,the partition of the platform to control bus and wireless equipment,the process design of dynamic simulation and some module design which could reflect optimization.Lastly,the paper implemented the design,discussed the difficulties and solutions,and tested the platform through functionality and availability.
