With the development of computer technology and putting forward of"Internet +" concept, the traditional industries and the Internet industry blend together. Internet has become an increasingly inseparable part of our daily life. Smart phones, smart watches, smart furniture, auto-driven vehicles, and such a variety of intelligent devices emerge in an endless stream, more and more terminal access network, which lays the foundation for the popularization and application of the next generation Internet Protocol (IPv6). IPv6 extends the scope of IPv4 address space, but also brings more enhancements for the network security and scalability. However, with the deepening of research, security risks of IPv6 address long-term held brought about more prominent. In this paper, IPv6 address hopping mechanism is researched and experimented. From the host-side and server-side, IPv6 address hopping system is designed and implemented which is intended to circumvent malicious network regulatory behavior using of IPv6 address for data monitoring. In the host-side address hopping, DHCPv6 Relay is used to perform the hopping management on the real address provided by DHCPv6 Server, provide the unified hopping record query service through the Identity Manager Server, and propose a simple and feasible scheme to keep communication connectivity during the hopping process. On the server-side, use the smart DNS to provide host that originated the request with the hopping address which is corresponding to required domain. Through the NAT address translation, the host can still access the server by using the hopping address as destination. The IPv6 address hopping system is described in detail from the requirements analysis, the outline design and the detailed design, then the system is tested by setting up the physical network and deploying the real experimental environment. The test results show that the host can obtain the DHCPv6 host hopping address with controllable period and range through the host-side address hopping system successfully; and can obtain the WEB server hopping address through the DNS domain name resolution, then communicate with the WEB server through NAT address translation successfully. This proves that the design and implementation of the Internet address hopping system is in accordance with the expected results, which has great significance to the practical network application.
