Nowadays, the smart cards are widely used in urban public service,transport, campus life and many other industries, they change the way of our life significantly. But with the increasingly enlarging upon application fields, the huge security hidden danger caused by card missing becomes more and more severe. The traditional ways of lost and found are primarily based on manual operations. This paper put forward an automatic finding method for the lost smart card based on image recognition and design an automatic lost and found system of smart card based on embedded platform according to this method, which realizes the systematization and automation of the lost and found process and the precision of the control method.The automatic lost and found system of smart card based on embedded platform designed in this paper is mainly composed of three parts, including the hardware side——automatic lost and found case, the client side and the server side. The work of this paper is responsible for the design of the hardware side, the client application and the communication between different parts of this system. The hardware side realizes image collection and card storage that is composed of imaging collecting system, smart card classifier, the transmissions, drive controlling devices and the power unit. In this paper, Smart210 is used as the upper computer of the whole system and STM32F105 is chosen as the lower computer. The client side realizes information searching and publishing and the interface function. The client side application program and the UI are designed under Android Studio development environment.Besides, the client side communicate with the server through HTTP protocol, while the data exchanging between upper computer and lower computer is realized over the Bluetooth.The main innovative points of this paper are as follows:(1) For the problem that traditional ways of lost and found are primarily based on manual operations, this paper put forward an automatic finding method for the lost smart card based on image recognition, which realizes the automation of the lost and found process.(2) Through the independent design and the cooperative working mode of every section, this automatic lost and found system realize the systematization of the lost and found process.(3) Based on the specially-designed smart card classifier and control mode, mixing with the assisted localization technique of the angular transducer, this system realizes the precisely control in the section of smart card access, which makes the whole lost and found process more reliable.
