With the advent of the fifth-generation era, people have higher requirements on the channel bandwidth, stability and convenience of mobile communication. At the same time, with the gradual depletion of the frequency band around 6GHz, people will gradually turn to the richer frequency resources Millimeter wave communication research.Difference with 4G communication, 5G communication is not rigidly adhere to a single frequency, but to relax the eyes to 6GHz to 100GHz band. Because the transmission properties and the channel parameters of millimeter wave in different frequency bands have great differences, the 5G communication channel model has carried on a series of amendments and parameter expansion on the basis of original 3D MIMO to guarantee the stability of millimeter wave communication._At the same time,millimeter wave communication millimeter level and its corresponding antenna size is only millimeter level so that it would greatly reduce the aerial size and can also support the Massive MIMO technology at the same time.Millimeter wave communication has higher channel capacity, richer frequency resource and wider application prospect. Besides, it has important research significance and research value as an important link to decide the communication quality. As the current 3D MIMO channel model has been unable to meet the needs of 5G communication, 3 GPP proposed Channel model for frequency spectrum above 6GHz. This design mainly compares, analyzes and emulates the three channel models,which are 3D MIMO channel model, METIS channel model and channel model for the frequency spectrum above 6GHz.Since the channel model structure of the frequency spectrum above 6 GHz is extended and modified on the currently used 3D MIMO channel model, this paper first focuses on the 3D MIMO channel model, analyzes the channel model structure and builds the channel model simulation platform. Secondly, the METIS channel model is studied and analyzed,and compared with the 3D MIIMO channel model, the channel simulation platform is extended and modified. Finally, the channel model is analyzed and compared with the 3D MIMO channel model. The simulation platform is optimized and perfected based on the analysis result and it covering the three channel models is developed in the frequency band from 6GHz to 100GHz. The performance of channel model is analyzed according to the result of channel simulation platform.
