With the rapid increase of wireless data traffic,the contradiction between communication demand and spectrum resources is increasing.Millimeter wave has become one of the key technologies to deal with the above problems because of its abundant spectrum resources.In order to further study the propagation characteristics of millimeter waves,ray tracing has become a hotspot in addition to traditional statistical channel modeling.Traditional ray tracing does not include diffuse scattering.However,diffuse scattering is an important propagation mechanism in the millimeter wave band.Thus,the modeling and calculation method of diffuse scattering has become an important factor affecting the accuracy of ray tracing in analysising the channel characteristics at millimeter wave band.For this reason,this paper proposes a diffuse scattering calculation method based on the DNN to improve the accuracy of ray tracing.The channel characteristics in a LOS conference room at 28 GHz are both extracted via measurements and simulations.Results from channel measurement data,ray tracing,ray tracing containing diffuse scattering are compared to verify the prerformance of the diffuse scattering calculation method.Then,the application value of ray tracing in channel modeling under millimeter wave frequency band is analyzed.The main content of this article includes:1.Channel measurement and ray tracing platform construction in indoor conference room.In this paper,we focus on characterizing the channel in indoor conference at 28 GHz,which is considered as one of the leading candidates for 5G systems.First,channel measurement on 28GHz was performed and channel parameters with corresponding data processing methods were obtained.At the same time,a ray tracing platform was constructed to get the channel parameters.The measurement data is used to complete the calibration of the ray tracing platform.2.Calculate the diffuse scattering caused by rough walls based on DNN.Diffuse scattering has an important impact on the accuracy of ray tracing,especially in the millimeter wave band.In this paper,a new method is proposed based on DNN to predict the diffuse scattering caused by rough walls.Finally,the channel parameters obtained from the measurement,ray tracing,and ray tracing with diffuse scattering are compared and analyzed to prove the feasibility of this method in improving the accuracy of ray tracing.3.Analyze the statistical characteristics of clusters using ray tracing.The statistical properties of clusters can not only enhance our understanding of electromagnetic wave propagation mechanisms,but are also vital to the design of millimeter wave communication systems.In this paper,the statistical characteristics of clusters in 28GHz indoor conference room are analyzed by the measurement,ray tracing and ray tracing with diffuse scattering,and the fitting results of these parameters are compared and analyzed.Furthermore,the importance of diffuse scattering to the study of cluster characteristics is analyzed...
