With the rapid development of the Internet,network has gradually become an indispensable part of people's life.Today's networks are connected with each other,any person in a public network can access each other if there isn't any restriction.In order to ensure host can't be accessed by illegal network node,people propose the concept address hopping.Address hopping protects host by changing the host's address continuously,network nodes can't access the host by a fixed IP because of the address hopping.Therefore,illegal nodes can't keep the communication with the host for a long time,so the host is protected.This paper proposes two systems of address hopping based on DHCPv6 in the IPv6 network which the locator/ID separation is supported.The systems use the time limit of host's IPv6 address assigned by DHCPv6 service and sets the expiration of IPv6 address with appropriate time when the address is assigned to host.The old address will be set to be invalid and the new hopping address will be assigned to the host when the host send renew request.The address hopping is completed by the above steps.In this paper,firstly,the existing address hopping schemes have been studied,and the requirement of the project is analyzed in detail.After a lot of technical investigation,the address hopping scheme based on DHCPv6 is determined.Secondly,according to the requirement analysis results,the overall design of DHCPv6 address hopping system and module design are given,and the message interactions among modules are analyzed.Meanwhile,solutions for key problems in the address hopping process have been proposed.Thirdly,the detailed design of each module in the system is carried out,and the implementation of DHCPv6 relay supporting the address hopping function is given based on the open source software Dibbler.Finally,functions tests of DHCPv6 relay have been done,and the test results indicate that it achieved address hopping functions correctly and good compatibility with the standard of the DHCPv6 service.To be concluded,this address hopping scheme is novel and effective,which is of great significance in practical internet application.
