With the rapid development of information technology, data exchange between networks has become a hot spot in research and its methods are varied too. But most of the security and efficiency of data exchange cannot meet the requirements of certain secret unit. In this context,the traditional optical disc storage technology gets attention again, because its storage and safety have distinctive advantages. So this article can design a ferry device which can ferry data automatically between the public and the secret network . The device is based on optical disc, and the ferry data migrate automatically from the sender to the receiver in one direction,improving the security and efficiency of network data exchange.First of all, based on the analysis of the disc parts transfer institutions at home and abroad, this article could adopt the way of the conveyor belt to achieve optical disc ferry. The structure part of ferry device was designed in detail, including transmission mechanism,lifting mechanism and feeding mechanism, etc.Secondly, the force analysis of the conveyor belt was carried out, and the slipping model was established. the influence of equivalent bending moment in horizontal direction and vertical direction on CD ferry was studied. the variation of contact stress in the process of feeding, the impact of the feed speed and the normal force on the maximum contact stress was analyzed by using the simulation software ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Through the above analysis, it could provide the theoretical basis for the design of ferry device structural parameters.After that, the control system of ferry device was designed and studied, the vibration mechanism of stepper motor and the theory of subdivided driving way can reduce the vibration mode were analyzed, And the ascending and descending speed curve was designed to make the motor transmission reasonably. The PC control software were programmed by using the VC+ + 6.0 development environment, the main function of serial communication and the optical drive control were achieved, and a control system to ferry automatically was built.Finally,the prototype of the ferry device was trial-produced. and on this basis,a series of tests were conducted on the functional modules of the control system, and the conveyor belt velocity of optical disk feeding process was determined,To testify that the control system is capable of taking the ferry task. By using accelerate sensors, both no-load and full-load vibration amplitudes were measured, and frequency variation effect to vibration amplitude was analyzed, and the feasibility of reducing vibration by applying subdivision drive technology was validated.
