With the third generation mobile communication technology (3G) entering into the commercial stage of globalization, the 3G users have an ever-increasing demand for mobile Internet. In order to meet the needs of 3G users on WAP business development, business operation and its localization, starting from the definition of mobile Internet business, the thesis gives an overview on the current situation and the future development trends of the mobile Internet business in Japan, South Korea, the United States, Europe and China, and on this basis, the mobile Internet portal operator platform is established with the combination of business needs. An overall planning and designing is made for the portal content construction,software and hardware configuration, network organization scheme and system architecture.The thesis introduces the design and implementation of the core module of the system software such as portal display, content management, page template management, terminal management, user management, and CP/SP information management. At the same time, the system interface, business process and service ordering process are designed.Based on B/S architecture, the portal platform adopts J2EE distributed system structure design and follows WAP2.0 technical specification, with the application of JSP language to develop the portal display, Servlet to realize business control, and EJB to implement business logic; its back-end database is processed by using SQL Server 2010 software, connected through JDBC database. WAP publish server employs Tomcat6.0, with the development tools of Dreamwaverage Eclipse MX, JDK6.0 etc. Test tools include Opera 10, Mozilla Firefox browser, WAP1.5 simulator and various models of mobile phones, such as iPhone 3GS,HTC8282, Nokia e63.The platform has an access to the gateways of VAC and WAP/WEB through the interfaces, with its basic functions of business visit, business order, and triggering authentication, portal functions of user personalization page production, page optimization,configurable scroll bar position, and socket connection of service content, and background management functions of content management, operations management, and auxiliary management, realizing the diversification of the operating function of mobile phones. The establishment of the platform offers a convenient, practical, visual mobile application for its users and managers, meets the requirements of 3G users for the mobile Internet business,provides a distinctive service different from other competitors, and adapts to the development of mobile Internet.
