A Study On The Development Of Chinese Elderly Journals

With the acceleration of the aging process and the increase in the absolute number of the elderly population,the "silver" cultural industry will occupy an important position in the whole Chinese economy.Since the 1980 s,the government has become more and more concerned about the elderly groups,and promulgated the old cadres from the retirement system,the elderly journals as the aging organs of the publicity publications were born.Since the "longevity" was founded in 1980 so far,China's old periodical industry has gone through the embryonic stage,to the policy stage,the development stage of three periods.Today,although there is a certain level of development of old journals,but there are still narrow audience,homogenization of serious,digital level is not high and so on.Elderly journals take the market-oriented route,and take the system reform measures is imperative.In this paper,the author elaborates the concept and classification of the old age journals in China,the development process and the development problems of their old age journals in the same countries as the United States and the United States.Through the analysis and comparison,the author analyzes the strategies and development directions of the future development of Chinese elderly journals,and proposes to break through the aspects of content construction,brand promotion,business model,individualization and specialization so as to promote elderly journals' development into a new stage.
