The Grand Canal is listed as one of the greatest four ancient projects in the world.The canal culture is treasure integration of substance and spirit that is developed around the opening and prosperity of canal,and is also precipitated by long and continuous development with relative stability and containment.Therefore,the Grand Canal has the important meaning for inheritance and development of the canal culture.With the success of Application for World Heritage of the Grand Canal,more and more scholars begin to study the canal culture.However,the study of spreading,showing and inheriting the canal culture needs to be researched further.Display space of undertaking the function of social education and cultural inheritance has the compelling obligation to spread the canal cultural.This article focuses on studying how to exactly deliver the canal culture to the visitors in display space and how to give a humanized show of the canal culture.Depending on the design of reconstructing the museum display space in Tai'er Zhuang ancient city,this article explores the displace form of canal culture in Tai'er Zhuang region in display space,as well as carrying out the theory of transmitting and inheriting the canal culture in display space as a media.Open service space is one of the designing bright points.Mainly using the method of documents study and cases analysis in the article,the author realizes the characters,current state and potential problems about the canal culture,by reading and collecting lots of literatures.With the analysis of pictures and words in the design case of display space,the author explores numerous new thoughts about the exhibition.In practice,scientific method and perceptual display form is used in the article,to decisively show the form of the canal culture in Tai'er Zhuang Region.The use of semi landscape painting and scene repair means can create the existence atmosphere of the canal culture and the display of the building style which is under the influence of canal culture also shows features of the canal culture.The exploration purpose of this article is to hope to provide a new thought to the transmission and display form of the canal culture.
