Abstract/Summary:
With the progress of 3D(Three Dimensions)imaging technology and industry,the medical endoscopy devices are transmitting from 2D to 3D mode.And the corresponding medical-grade 3D display system emerge as the times require,which makes a total solution from video source to display endpoint.The 3D solution provides the surgical staff a more vivid demonstration of body tissues,organs and so on,which helps them to make a more precise diagnosis and treatment.Based on the analysis of the requirement for medical-grade 3D display,a complete multi-port medical-grade naked-eye 3D display system is implemented,and the system is composed of Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)and System on Chip(SoC)devices as the core.The system can be divided into three main subsystems:(1)Video input and receiver,such as dual-input triple-speed adaptive Serial Digital Interface(SDI),High Definition Multimedia Interface(HDMI),Digital Visual Interface(DVI).(2)Data-path of multi-source video processing,fusion and output for display.(3)Human-machine interaction solution based on Ethernet and Wi-Fi.The paper starts from the specific requirement of multi-port medical-grade naked-eye 3D display system.And then the paper focuses on the hardware implementation,such as key components selection by making a comparison among many sets of devices,the overall scheme design,single board design,circuit schematic and PCB design.In the design of schematics,detail expression is made for the key modules.Meanwhile,the detail design of PCB is broken into detail structure,such as composition,stack-up design,impedance control,high-speed signal line design and so on.Finally,the finished circuit boards are verified from different aspects,such are function and performance verification,and the results show that the whole design meets the requirements.The medical-grade naked-eye 3D display solution described in the paper provides surgical stuff with convenience and contributes to the development of medical display field with beneficial exploration,and the corresponding product has been already used by hospitals with good recognition.Besides,many modules and design method in the paper are well implemented,which qualifies them as a reference for general-purpose multi-port video processing system and hardware implementation.
