Notebook computer is an electronic product that people common used,it is update very quickly,notebook computer bracket hinge stress need to reduce,life cycle need to increase base on mechanical performance requirements and life requirement from end-user on the notebook.Hinge as a component of a notebook that can movable.One project in XX Computer Company occurred shaft crack issue in earlier development stage,in order to improve this problem,reduce the stress of bracket,increase the strength of the bracket,it is also very important to improve shaft crack issue.In order to improve the crack issue of hinge of the notebook computer,detail of this paper are as bellow:(1)First get the related information of the notebook by querying the relevant literature and visited the corresponding production factory;then understanding the knowledge fo the hinge system structure,material,process,assembly and so on;and the hinge swing test method and results.(2)Secondly,we need to analysis the strength and fatigue life of the hinge bracket,need to select hinge bracket as the research object according the structure and swing test of the notebook,and then need establish a element model of the hinge bracket,get the result data of force data and fatigue life data using ANSYS analysis software,which can shows the consistent between the analysis of simulation results and experimental data,then we can find the solution of the hinge bracket issue.(3)After the analysis of hinge stress and fatigue life,we can identified four hinge bracket optimization scheme according the query related papers and analysis the structure of the bracket.First,comparative analysis hinge bracket materials commonly used such as SGCC,SECC and SUS,the results show that the characteristics of several materials hinge bracket are almost commonly used,material change can not decreasing stress and increase the fatigue life;Second,Analysis three shaft support structure of type I,L,N,that N type structure's stress and fatigue life is the biggest improvement;Third,analysis and comparison of the hinge bracket bending height,got the result that bending height is more bigger,the stress smaller,fatigue life higher;Fourth,Analysis hinge bracket thickness,the results showed that increasing the thickness of the bracket can not only reduce stress and increase the fatigue life.(4)According to above optimization results,we need to select the most effective scheme which verifies the effectiveness and verifies consistency of the simulation analysis and actual test.The purpose of this study is proposed solution to improve the crack of the bracket by the simulation and knowledge of theory,we need to verifies the effectiveness and verifies consistency of the simulation analysis and actual test,the foremost purpose is to make exact control of the reliability of products in the very beginning of design period.
