Micro-manipulators have the characteristics of no friction and wear,compact structure,good rigidity and small accumulation of error and so on,which will be applicated widely in the field of medicinal science,fine processing and aerospace.flexible hinge counted as the key part of micro-manipulatior,the performance of which would affect the robotic output,and the hinge incision configulation is simple,which made the micro-manipulation still in the theory research and testing period and did not be applied in the engineering broadly.This paper has based on domestic and foreign flexible hinge research and application of micro-manipulator. Firstly,the normal hinges have been classified simplily,and the flexibility formulors were been deduced according to the Castigliano's second displacement theory, and which were used to calculate the flexibilities of Circular arc, elliptic and parabolic-oval complex hinges in three directions;then analyzed them in the MATLAB software,and found that circular hinge has better flexibility in X axis direction;with Y axis direction,compound hinge is much better for the flexibility value is much stable and biger.and the elliptic hinge is more predominant.At the same time,the static anlysis was done with the large analysis software ANSYS,draw the relationship between stress and deformation,so it could test the validity of the calculated formulas.At the end of paper,expatiating on the general optimizational concept,optimizati- onal process and the matters need to attent in the process of ANSYS optimization; According to the traits of hinges,established the flexure hinge optimizational model combined the optimization design theory;Three different optimizational curves of the hinge configulation have been obtained after the three different load were applied to the model,from the results,it could see that the capabilities have been advanced under the corresponding load.
