Since 2010,the number of road traffic accidents and the number of casualties in our country have declined,but the traffic safety situation is still grim.With the development of accident treatment technology and the improvement of people's law consciousness,the traffic accident investigation and analysis technology is put forward higher request.At present,the rapid acquisition and processing technology of panoramic image is the key to solve the problem.Therefore,the image acquisition and processing technology of traffic accident scene needed be studied to solve the problem of panoramic coverage effectively.In recent years,because of large field,high resolution,fast positioning and other advantages of insect compound eye,more and more researchers pay attention to it.Based on the research on the visual mechanism of insects' compound eye,a bionic compound eye array in traffic accident scene to collect static images and realize panoramic image acquisition by image mosaicking has been designed.Combine insect compound eye with crab eye to make vision bionics,it realizes interdisciplinary fusion of traffic safety science and bionics and solves the problem of taking a panoramic image in the scene of traffic accident.Through researching on the imaging characteristics and the structure of the compound eyes of insects and crab eye,we simulate insects' compound eye visual characteristic to array some imaging sensors.Each sensor has its own independent imaging channel and collect images in its own direction.Then these images inlay the panoramic image.Based on the visual mechanism of insect compound eye,the bionic compound eye array in traffic accident scene experimental platform has been designed.First,the lens parameters are selected which are related to the realization of large field of imitation compound array.On this basis,a geometric mathematical model of compound eye array has been built.Analyze the relationship between lens angle of view,lens radius and lens angle which are as the theoretical basis for building the experimental platform.Build the experimental platform to prepare for the following experimental study.The images which are collected by the bionic compound eye array have the characteristics of regular and proportional overlap area.Through the design of the experimental platform,we can calculate the proportion of the overlap area.Then we use the direct splicing method that achieves image mosaicking rapidly.And it reduces the image processing time.Based on the experimental platform,the visual mechanism of bionic compound eye array has been researched.By comparing the experimental data and the results of image mosaic,the results show that the bionic compound eye array can realize the function of large field of view imaging.The geometric mathematical model is verified and the corresponding conclusions are drawn.Splice the images which are obtained in the experiment and verify the feasibility of the direct proportional splicing method.
