The development of nuclear rescue robot is key to the improvement of the safe operation of nuclear power plant.Environment after nuclear' accident with high radiation and elevated temperature is far beyond the human safety range.It was put forward that robot must be designed and used to assist with detection and the clearing-up.In addition to the low radiation resistance of electronic devices on robots,it also be highly sensitive to high temperature.In order to solve the problem about thermal failure of electronic device,two thermal protection structures were proposed according to two different working conditions.The effects of operating parameters were investigated and optimized.Structure of cold plate was also optimized by numerical simulation.Applicability and economic evaluation of the thermal protection system were carried out at last.The main results are as follows:(1)Make clear of working conditions of nuclear rescue robot by analyzing environment after Fukushima nuclear accident.Due to different working conditions,two thermal protection structures were proposed.Some of devices and parameters were choosed and calculated according to experience.(2)Inside the containment with elevated temperature,insulation together with phase change material was adopted to help with the thermal protection.Outside the containment with room temperature and low dose of radiation,water-cooling system was designed.Results showed that the maximum temperature increased with the increasing power dissipation.Flow rate was proportional to the maximum temperature.With the increase of flow rate,the decreased rate of maximum temperature gradually slowed down.(3)By numerical simulation of the flow inside cold plate,results provided consistency with the experimental results.Structure of cold plate had a great impact on the cooling effect.(4)Applicability and economic evaluation of the thermal protection design were carried out to for the practial application...
