Recently, with the rapid development of the Internet, mobile phone devices has stepped into 4G internet era from the 3G communications era.In 2020,China will use 5G mobile technology on a large scale. However, nowadays a growing number of people are focusing on the analysis of the rich data generated by mobile Applications via data mining methods. Thus, this paper will use data mining technology to study and analyze the usage of mobile devices across the whole country and ultimately, provide some reference to mobile operators. This paper mainly consists of three parts:Firstly, collect the data associated with the experiment, ans then conduct the overall analysis over these data from the user basic characteristics, time characteristics, mobile phone brand characteristics, geographical location characteristics and mobile phone App type to find valuable research points.Secondly, use the clustering algorithm of data mining to cluster the latitude and longitude data. The algorithm is programmed via Python and the clustering results are visualized using Python tool. After observing the results of clustering,it can be seen that the results are roughly like the shape of a Chinese map,and there are some less distributions outside of the profile of the Chinese map.Re-set the k value of the algorithm and run the experiment, using Baidu map API interface to display the concentric data over each cluster of clustering results and observe the mobile device distribution on the map, finally, carry out specific analysis.Eventually, use the data mining technology to mine the association rules over mobile phone App category, and they are implemented by Apriori algorithm in Weka.At last, these results was analyzed.
