Data Mining Technology In The It Public Course Evaluation

Data Mining is one of the most dynamic branches among the database's research, development and application. It is mainly composed by the database technology, data visualization, science of statistics, information retrieval, artificial intelligence, machine learning, high-performance calculation and etc. With the fast development of data mining technology, much attention has been turned to the practical application from the research of methodology. The data mining actual utilization has already obtained the huge application value in the commercial domain. And applies in social all the various trades and occupations more and more is also widespread.Nowadays, computers and network have extensively used by the universities. Construction of campus digitalization has been quickened. Different departments in the campus are improving their own MIS. Therefore, extensive quantity of integrated data has been accumulated, which has formed precious information resource for the university. However, the purpose of the information is mainly for the simple inquiry and statistic report. Proper advantage is not being taken of the information.This dissertation focuses on the penetration point of evaluation of the information technology course, and analyzes the deficiency of mark management by combining the actual situation of polytechnic college. And designs and realizes the information technology public class result analysis system based on the data mining technology. Clustering algorithm and association rules mining algorithm will be applied to the process of the information technology public class student result data. A set logical system will be set up to analyze in order to obtain the result which we are concerned about. This will provide the decision-making criterions for the management of teaching and student.
