The two bands miniaturized multi-channel receiver front-end in the research is applied to be fit for missile-borne radar system.It is a high performance module applied in receiver system of radar,which is required to have low noise figure,good channel consistency and high isolation,small size and other characteristics.The receiver front-end can process signals of X band and K band,and can switch freely.Each frequency band of the receiver front-end has three channels,which are combined,azimuth and pitching signals.Each channel includes waveguide-micro strip transition,limiting-switch,low noise amplifier,image rejection mixer and IF amplifier.The paper mainly discusses the contents in the fields of design of receiver front-end?target allocation and feasibility?device selection and simulation design,as well as structure and technology design,finally carries out a test analysis on samples.In the subject,the difficulties in high-power limiting switch,waveguide-microstrip transition of K-band and one-three power divider of LO signal are solved,while each module of the component is designed.The requirements of miniaturization and hermeticity of the component are satisfied by structural analysis and design.The good isolation from channel to channel is provided by reasonable circuit layout.The problems in front-end production are solved by process design.Due to the above mentioned,the electrical performance and reliability of the component is improved effectively.Finally,improvement measures are put forward on the basis of front-end testing and results analysis.
