As an important microwave control component, microwave limiter is widely used in microwave systems such as microwave signal receiver. The theory and design of the X band limiter are researched in this dissertation.The main job in this paper is to do the overall program design combined with relative theoretical knowledge, and to simulate and optimize each unit circuit through a variety of computer-aided software according to the technical requirements of the X band limiter. Finally I use a doping hybrid integrated circuits design to complete two stages X band limiter with two PIN diodes biased by a wave-guide coupling-detecting circuit.The unit circuits used in the X band limiter include the passive circuits (waveguide-to-microstrip transition, filters, coupler), the active circuits (the detection circuit, limiter circuit, DC amplifier).At last, I finished the assembly of the limiter. Through debugging and testing the insertion loss, return loss of the design, I achieve the purpose that the theoretical research is combined with engineering application. |
